Job Juncture seeks a skilled CNC Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-precision CNC metal-cutting machines with automation systems. This remote-based role provides onsite and remote customer support, with travel to customer facilities as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, software, hardware, and basic networking issues, replacing components, documenting actions, and guiding customers. Up to 60% travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Requires technical education or certification in CNC machining, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, IT, or related field.
  • Experience with CNC machine tools, metal-cutting equipment, or industrial automation.

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for CNC tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, hardware, and basic networking issues.

  • Assist customers with CNC machine operation and technical questions.

  • Escalate complex CNC machine issues to engineering and technical support teams.

Job description

We are seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-precision CNC metal-cutting machines, including CNC milling, grinding, measuring, and automation systems. This remote-based role provides onsite and remote customer support, with travel required for installations, repairs, training, and service calls.

Requirements

  • Field service or technical support experience with CNC machine tools, metal-cutting equipment, or industrial automation required.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CNC controls, machine-control computers, or industrial monitoring systems.
  • Ability to replace computer components, configure systems, and provide basic networking support.
  • Technical education or certification in CNC machining, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, information technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize service needs, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Manufacturing or CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer facilities as required (up to 60%).
