Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer facilities nationwide. This field-based role requires extensive travel and a focus on maximizing machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, leveling, geometry checks, and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues (FANUC).

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machine tool maintenance and service experience.
• Experience providing remote technical support in the machine tool industry.
• Proven ability to install and service machining centers including leveling and alignment.

Responsibilities

• Install and service CNC machine tools at customer sites nationwide.
• Perform machine leveling, geometry checks and final adjustments.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and application issues.
• Identify root causes and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and distributors.
