Job summary

Mtinc Machines seeks a skilled CNC Machine Tool Field Service Engineer to install, level, calibrate and commission MTINC precision CNC slicing and dicing machines at customer sites worldwide. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues, verify accuracy, and train operators on basic operation.

You will document every job the same day, follow safety standards, and report recurring issues for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience in machine tools or CNC machinery.
• Proficient with FANUC alarms/diagnostics and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and edit G-code and M-code programs.
• Willingness to travel internationally; valid passport.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, level, calibrate, and commission MTINC precision CNC slicing and dicing machines at customer sites (domestic and international).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues using FANUC alarms/diagnostics, schematics, manuals, and test equipment.
• Diagnose FANUC software, parameters, and settings to return machines to proper operation.
• Work directly with customers to debug CNC programs (G-code and M-code).
• Verify machine accuracy after installs and repairs; adjust until specifications are met.
• Document every job the same day: work performed, parts used, time on site, and follow-ups.
• Follow company and customer safety protocols on every job, including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Surface recurring issues and continuous-improvement ideas to the service manager and engineering.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent service needs.
