Job summary

Trades Workforce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Engineer to install, service, and repair advanced CNC machine tools across Colorado. You will travel to customer sites to ensure optimum uptime and performance.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain), strong problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach. A technical degree or proven field service background is valued, with willingness to travel throughout Colorado.

Qualifications

Prior experience servicing CNC machine tools or similar precision machinery.
Strong understanding of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain.
Engineering degree or technical background preferred but not required; strong field service background welcomed.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Colorado.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Travel throughout Colorado to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine tools.
Perform machine installations, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to maximize uptime.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control-related issues.
Analyze technical problems and provide clear recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Support distributors and end users with technical guidance and machine optimization.
Maintain accurate service reports and communicate service activities and recommendations.
