Job summary

Ellison Technologies is seeking a field service technician to service CNC machines across the San Antonio–Austin area. You will handle installations, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs, traveling locally with minimal overnights.

Ideal candidates will have experience with CNC machining centers and turning centers, with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repair capabilities. The role requires professional communication and ownership of service cases.

Qualifications

Experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
Repair skills focused on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects.

Responsibilities

Perform field service: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance for local market.
Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training.
Communicate effectively with a variety of people; represent Ellison Technologies professionally.
Take ownership of all service cases and maintain customer records and documentation.
Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities kind of working on different projects and different challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week).

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Essential Duties Include

Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
Communicate effectively with a variety of different people
Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing, of CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we're looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.
