Job summary

Ellison Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair CNC machinery across the Pacific Northwest from our Wilsonville, OR office. You will install, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills and lathes at customer sites, ensuring high equipment uptime.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills, plus strong communication to educate customers and document service actions for our records.

Qualifications

Experience working with CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers; able to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
Proven field service experience including installations and preventive maintenance.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills to support clients on site.
Ability to document service actions clearly and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
Resolve customer issues and provide training and sales support.
Communicate effectively with a variety of different people.
Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.

(although we have an office in Wilsonville, Service Engineers rarely go in as they are focused on supporting customers in the area)

Responsibilities

Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Essential Duties Include

Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
Communicate effectively with a variety of different people.
Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing, of CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we're looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.
