Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Development Machining Supervisor to lead a seasoned CNC team and drive process improvements across 1st and 2nd shift. You will set high machining standards, troubleshoot complex issues, and accelerate new product introductions to keep parts on rate.

You will develop people, manage capacity and equipment, and collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure documentation and quality meet exacting requirements on precision, timing, and cost.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Demonstrated high-level machining aptitude, including diagnosing and solving difficult machining/process problems.
• 1+ year of experience leading machinists, technicians, or a shop floor team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of machining specialists across 1st and 2nd shift.
• Stand up and run development CNC machines, CMM, and supporting processes to keep production on rate.
