Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer for Development (Starlink) to drive CNC mill programming and expand capabilities across prototype and production tooling. You will fabricate electromechanical systems, interpret drawings, and collaborate with engineering to accelerate development to high-volume production.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 3+ years in mechanical fabrication, with GD&T and wiring experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical fabrication (assembly, welding, machining, hand tools, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Drive CNC mill programming and operations to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Spearhead expansion of CNC capabilities to expedite product development cycles.
• Fabricate electromechanical production and test systems with various tools and equipment.
• Work with engineering to deliver solutions and improve tooling and processes.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and build instructions for tooling and equipment.
• Maintain development shop workflow, safety, and inventory control.
• Promote 5S, organize the workspace, and support team goals with innovative solutions.
