Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Aiken, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for the off shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM). The role includes troubleshooting, repairing HELLER CNC machines, and maintaining MTM washing machines and cooling systems, with on-site training in Germany.

You will coordinate training, document malfunctions, and support senior technicians. A relevant associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship and 5–7 years of machining maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance with 5 years of machining maintenance experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment, or completion of an apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC); experience with a variety of machines and tools including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary; monitor and maintain machining and facility equipment and associated fluids.
• Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen; monitor and repair transfer tanks.
• Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken using spare parts.
• Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians.

Working Pattern

Full Time - Shift starts at 8:00 PM and ends at 6:30AM, Sunday night through Thursday morning. A shift premium will be added to the hourly rate. Additional hours/days worked are eligible for overtime pay. Initially training will occur on first shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. You should have the flexibility to change shifts and occasionally be on call when production requires. You will need to attend training in Germany for 4-6 weeks.

Basic Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC) Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter system.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Machining Equipment.
• Strong knowledge of total productive maintenance principles (TPM).

Pay Range: Pay ranges for remote employees are based on the state where the employee resides and may vary from the posted range. $32.57 - $48.86-Hourly
