Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or equivalent apprenticeship with 5–7 years in heavy‑duty manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines and Siemens 840D CNC control.
• Experience with a range of tools, measuring devices and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
• Maintain MTM washing machines and Knoll cooling lubricant tanks; manage fluids.
• Monitor bulk Nitrogen, repair transfer tanks, and document malfunctions with spare parts data.
• Coordinate training and coach less senior technicians.

Job Description

Working Pattern: Full Time - Mini Shift starts at 5:45AM and ends at 6:15PM, Friday morning through Sunday morning. A shift premium will be added to the hourly rate. Additional hours/days worked are eligible for overtime pay. Initially training will occur on first shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. You should have the flexibility to change shifts and occasionally be on call when production requires. You will need to attend training in Germany for 4‑6 weeks.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary. Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining machining and facility equipment and associated fluids.
• Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen. Monitor and repair transfer tanks.
• Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken of used spare parts.
• Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians.

Basic Requirements

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy‑du cy manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy‑du cy manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC) Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter system.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Machining Equipment.
• Strong knowledge of total productive maintenance principles (TPM).
