Job summary

Rolls‑Royce in Graniteville, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for off shift. The role starts at 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a shift premium; relocation and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus are offered.

Training in Germany is required for 4–6 weeks, with initial training on day shift. Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical components and MTM/LTA systems; coordinate coaching for junior techs and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or apprenticeship with 5–7 years of machining maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines and Siemens 840D CNC.
• Experience with a range of tools and equipment used in heavy‑duty manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
• Maintain Knoll coolant systems and MTM washing machines; clean and refill as needed.
• Order bulk nitrogen and monitor transfer tanks; document malfunctions and spare parts.
• Coordinate training and coach less senior technicians.

Job Title: CNC Machine Maintenance Technician - Off Shift

Working Pattern: Full Time - Shift starts at 8:00 PM and ends at 6:30AM, Sunday night through Thursday morning. A shift premium will be added to the hourly rate. Additional hours/days worked are eligible for overtime pay. Initially training will occur on first shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. You should have the flexibility to change shifts and occasionally be on call when production requires. You will need to attend training in Germany for 4-6 weeks.

Working Location: Aiken, SC

Relocation package will be provided if applicable.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary. Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining machining and facility equipment and associated fluids.
• Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen. Monitor and repair transfer tanks.
• Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken of used spare parts.
• Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians.

Basic Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy‑duty manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy‑duty manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC) Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter system.
• Strong knowledge of Manual Machining Equipment.
• Strong knowledge of total productive maintenance principles (TPM).
