Job Description: 3D Printing Machinist

Seeking a Machinist for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA.

Looking for Rework PCB assembly and 3D Printing Machinist history on resume. If you have programming experience from 3D models, then entry level experience works. If you do not have any 3D modeling machinist experience, then we will be looking for multiple years of experience, especially if submitted near max rates.

This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in machining processes, this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. You will play a key part in operating machines to produce cutting-edge products and systems.

Job Details:

1. Location: Chelmsford, MA
2. Shift: Day shift, Full-Time (M-TH) 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
3. Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with potential for Overtime
4. PPE Required: Steel Toes

What You'll Do:

1. Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
2. Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly process/work instructions, and work instruction processes.
4. Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
5. Set up and operate precision machine tools to make original parts, tools, mechanisms.
6. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
7. Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
8. Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

1. Basic computer skills required, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
2. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
3. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
4. Familiarity with CAD and CAM software, with entry level knowledge of programming from engineering models.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
7. Knowledge of ESD procedures and machine equipment.
8. Strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and a desire to grow and learn.
9. High school diploma or GED required.

Additional notes: Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage. Safety shoes are required for this position.
