Role Overview

We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time CNC Machinist Setup/Operator ($3,000 sign-on bonus!) in our advanced manufacturing assembly department based in Hopkinton, MA. This role involves reading blueprints, programming in MasterCAM, and setting up/operating CNC mills and lathes. The work schedule is Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes (preferably HAAS machines)
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Program using G&M codes, with Mastercam experience preferred
  • Make adjustments using MDI at CNC control panels
  • Utilize inspection equipment for quality checks
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure specifications are met
  • Operate independently from print to finished part
  • Edit and troubleshoot machining programs
  • Manage multiple machines while adhering to timelines and safety standards
Minimum Requirements
  • Programming experience, ideally with Mastercam
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Understanding of GD&T principles
  • Technical schooling in CNC or manual machining
  • Experience with tight tolerances and precise measurements
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
