A leading company in Worcester, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines. The role involves interpreting blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and ensuring work accuracy. Candidates should have trade school education or equivalent experience and be proficient in shop mathematics. The position requires US citizenship or permanent residency due to government contracts.
Wyman-Gordon, located in Worcester, MA, provides Isothermal Forgings for military and commercial turbine applications using nickel-based and titanium alloys. Full Heat Treating, Machining, and Testing are conducted on site. This growing, $200 million profit center is part of a highly successful, multi-billion dollar (NYSE) diversified manufacturer, Precision Castparts Corporation (PCP).
Set-up and operate computer numerical controlled and manual turning machines and electronic gauging equipment. Machine a variety of forgings and dies to close tolerances. Set up and operate all other machining equipment as required.
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to government military contracts.
