What You’ll Do:

  • Perform intermediate to complex CNC machining and programming, including setups on 3-axis, 5-axis mills, and/or lathes.
  • Create, modify, and optimize programs using WinMax, Mastercam, or G-code to improve machining efficiency and part quality.
  • Lead high-tolerance machining efforts and ensure parts meet specifications using various inspection tools and geometric dimensioning techniques.
  • Design and implement basic fixturing solutions to support efficient and accurate machining processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and offer technical guidance to less experienced machinists, promoting team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate cross-functionally to implement changes that enhance productivity and quality.
  • Assist in cleaning and preventive maintenance of CNC machines, tools, and workstations to maintain optimal performance.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE standards during all machining operations.

You Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on CNC programming and machining experience (required); degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in WinMax, Mastercam, and SolidWorks for modeling and programming; solid understanding of G-code.
  • Working knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis machining, as well as lathe operations and complex fixture setups.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-tolerance machining, geometric dimensioning (GD&T), and inspection techniques.
  • Strong grasp of shop mathematics, mechanical concepts, and measurement tools across multiple material types.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple complex projects in a cross-functional team setting.
