Job summary

Skilled Healthcare of Palos Heights is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing for the facility in compliance with regulations and budgetary guidelines. The role requires a certified Nurse Assistant and involves maintaining schedules, securing coverage for vacancies, and supporting payroll accuracy while coordinating with the DON/ADON and facility leadership.

Responsibilities

Assures adequate number of staff are scheduled at all times to meet the Guest’s needs as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
Assures monthly and daily staffing records are completed on time.
Secures coverage for vacancy shift, open positions, vacations and staff call-offs.
Maintains master schedule and log of all clinical staff schedule worked hours.
Assists the payroll coordinator with accuracy and verification of all hours worked by nursing staff.
Records employee attendance and communicates with DON and ADON when issues arise.
Assists the Administrator and other department heads with the daily operations of the entire facility.
