Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification required.
• Prior staff scheduling experience in healthcare preferred.
• Basic computer skills expected; comfortable with scheduling software.
• Knowledge of nursing staffing needs and forecasting helpful.
• Ability to work independently and follow department policies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule facility staff at appropriate levels as determined by the DON.
• Prepare shift schedules and clearly communicate assignments to staff.
• Ensure compliance with state staffing requirements and forecast future staffing needs.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward residents and staff.
• Assist in emergency evacuations as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability and regular attendance.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Support CNA duties when short-staffed as required.
