Job summary

The Park in Plano is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to maintain a fully staffed, well-trained care team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will create and manage schedules, coordinate shift coverage, lead orientation for new hires, and organize training such as CNA classes and CPR. The ideal candidate is a Texas CNA or higher, with LTC scheduling experience, excellent communication, and a compassionate, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must be a CNA or higher credentialed caregiver in Texas.
• Experience in long-term care and staff scheduling.
• Strong organizer with conflict-resolution skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a clear communicator.
• Compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.
• Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage schedules to ensure full staff coverage.
• Coordinate shift coverage for call-outs, PTO, and open shifts.
• Lead orientation for new hires and ensure documentation.
• Facilitate training including in-services, CNA certification, CPR.
• Monitor staff performance with daily rounds and training needs.
• Maintain records and uphold HR, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate scheduling updates with department heads and staff.
