Job summary

Sapphire Nursing and Rehab at Goshen is seeking enthusiastic CNAs for our Day Shift team in Orange County, NY. You will provide direct care to residents under supervision, supporting hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort while maintaining dignity and individualized care.

• Current NY CNA Certification is required.
• Long Term Care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food and water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights promptly.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports observations to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps units clean.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after discharge.

Skill / Experience Requirements

Current NY CNA Certification.
