Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill in Newburgh, NY has immediate openings for enthusiastic CNAs across ALL SHIFTS. Under supervised professional care, CNAs provide direct nursing care and support residents' personal needs, contributing to a compassionate, professional team.

A sign-on bonus of up to $600 is offered, paid in quarterly installments after successful completion of a 90-day probation period. NY CNA certification is required; prior skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food, water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights promptly.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports observations to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident units clean.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after discharge.
