Job summary

Sapphire Nursing and Rehab at Goshen is seeking enthusiastic CNAs for the Day Shift in Orange County, New York. We offer a $600 sign-on bonus (paid after 90 days) and a full benefits package, paid time off, and pension. CNAs will provide direct care under supervision, promoting hygiene, nutrition, and comfort for residents.

Qualified candidates hold a NY CNA certification; prior Long Term Care experience is a plus. We value professionalism and a rewarding career focused on resident well-being.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.
