Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care-The Lodge in Heber City, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Advocate for full-time, non-exempt work in a clinical setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, assist nursing staff, and help ensure care plans are followed with a focus on safety and compassion.

Qualified candidates hold a Utah CNA certificate or be in good standing, a high school diploma, CPR/BLS, a Food Handler Permit, and ideally one year of long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Coordinates dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up and clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and provides assistance as necessary to ensure intake; documents intake accordingly.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports changes to nurse; assists with monitoring skin condition and reporting issues to nurse and supervisor.

Education
