Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking a Direct Care Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Taunton, MA. You will help with daily living activities, meals, personal care, and accompany individuals on community outings.

Qualifications include Massachusetts CNA license, a compassionate demeanor, and clearance on a background check and driving record. TB screening is required upon hire and periodically thereafter.

Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hourly

Schedule: Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 9am-3pm

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine. Responsibilities include:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution

Community Outings

Examples of community outings:

• The Movies
• Shopping
• Going to Dinner
• Baseball Game
• Bowling

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts CNA License
• Compassionate and enjoy making a difference
• Qualified criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle
• TB screening and physical upon hire and every two years thereafter
