Job summary

Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc. in Harrisonburg is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct, hands-on care to residents under a licensed nurse. You will assist with daily activities, promote comfort and dignity, and support a safe, compassionate care environment.

The schedule is every other weekend with 6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM on Sat and Sun. Pay: $16.50–$21.70 per hour plus evening/night and weekend differentials.

Sun: 6 AM-2 PM or 2 PM -10 PM

Pay Ranges:

$16.50 - $21.70

Additional Pay Incentives:

• $2/hour evening & night shift differential (2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am all days)
• Additional $2/hour weekend shift differential (offered from 6 am Saturday to 6 am Monday)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a senior living care setting under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role supports residents with activities of daily living, promotes comfort and dignity, observes and reports changes in condition, and contributes to a safe, compassionate, and person-centered care environment. The CNA plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life through respectful care, teamwork, and consistent communication.
