Job summary

Sisters of Mercy Burlingame is seeking a CNA/Med Tech to provide direct care to residents, following personalized medication and treatment plans, and to observe and report any responses. The role requires completing required training and certification as per state regulations.

You will help with medication administration, maintain the medicine supply room, and ensure accurate MAR documentation. We value compassionate care aligned with Mercy mission and values.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with older adults.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents according to physician orders and report reactions.
• Assist with medication management and MAR documentation.
• Count narcotics and manage medication storage procedures.
• Support residents with daily ADLs and mobility tasks.
• Complete incident reports for changes in condition.
• Participate in required training and Mercy mission alignment.
• Maintain cleanliness of medicine supply room and audit medication carts.
