Cogir Senior Living in California is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide direct care, assist with prescribed medications, and support residents with activities of daily living in a nurturing team environment.

This full-time on-site role emphasizes dignity, safety, and engagement, with a weekend rotation and growth opportunities within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain is required.
• At least 12 months of medication administration experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication/teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with the daily administration of prescribed medications, including self-administration as outlined in care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders/deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and provide constant engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication between healthcare professionals, residents, families, and staff.
