Advocate Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the Med Surg unit in Wisconsin. This full-time position offers a 36-hour workweek with a PM shift (11-23) and three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

The role involves supporting RNs with patient care, measurements, and daily activities, while maintaining patient safety and comfort in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Annual certifications maintenance required."

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vitals and input/output in EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Collect specimens and support point-of-care testing as directed.
