Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring an RN for the MS4 Med/Surg Ortho unit in Grafton, WI. The 16-bed unit cares for adolescents to geriatrics, focusing on orthopedic post-surgical patients and related medical needs.

The role offers full-time status on the 0.9 FTE night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every third weekend and rotating holidays. 36 hours per week, benefits eligible, and opportunities for professional growth are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
