Job summary

Advocate Health in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Nurse Aide to support daily patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility, and basic monitoring, while documenting in EMR and maintaining infection control.

This full-time role requires BLS and Nurse Aide registration, a GED or HS diploma, and strong communication. Schedule is 36 hours/week with 12-hour night shifts, weekends rotate and holidays vary.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required and used for EMR documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational abilities and prioritization are needed.
• Certification Addendum applies to ongoing hospital requirements.
• Annual educational requirements for hospital certifications must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and positioning.
• Records vital signs and output; documents in EMR as directed.
• Conducts purposeful rounds and communicates patient needs to the RN.
• Aids in admission, transfer and discharge tasks and room setup.
• Collects specimens and helps with routine testing and label accuracy.
• Performs errands, restocks supplies, and maintains clean work areas.
• Assists with patient positioning and transfers using proper technique.
• Maintains skin integrity and assists with specialty devices as needed.
• Supports post mortem care and IV removal under RN direction when required.
• Adheres to infection prevention policies and uses PPE as needed.
• Ensures patient age-specific care and proper documentation.
