Job summary

The Commons in Lincoln, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) to join our Assisted Living/Mind and Memory team. This role delivers high-quality care in a warm, home-like environment, with per diem options and a pay range of $19–$20.25 per hour, commensurate with experience and shift differentials.

Shifts include 7a-3p, 3-11p, 11p-7a, Mondays, weekends, and special weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Massachusetts CNA/HHA license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia care is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Other duties as needed.

CNA/HHA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts CNA/HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
