Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Newton, MA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide for per diem shifts to deliver care to our residents within a warm, home-like environment. This role emphasizes dignity, respect, and responsive service, and requires valid CNA/HHA/LNA credentials.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document care and changes, engage residents in meaningful activities, provide emotional support, and collaborate with the care team;

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred.
• Experience with dementia care is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate Per Diem CNA/HHA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
