Job summary

Aperion Care in Wauconda, IL seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential resident care, including hygiene, meals, mobility and comfort, while maintaining privacy and dignity. You will document care, monitor residents, and report observations to nursing supervisors in a compliant, HIPAA-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include following care plans, supporting daily living activities, and communicating with clinical leadership as residents’ needs change.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license or certification in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all functions under your active license or certification or as it pertains to your assigned duties.
• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including ADLs, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
• Be willing to take on other duties within your knowledge and experience.
