Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to take additional training or state-required education.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handling multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: hygiene, meals, mobility, comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and document care activities.
• Report observations to nursing supervisors.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA.
• Participate in educational opportunities to maintain certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure resident health, welfare and safety.
