Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in providing compassionate care to residents with diverse needs. The role emphasizes patience, empathy, and respectful communication in a senior care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal services, weight and skin condition monitoring, and accurate documentation. A state-certified CNA and CPR/BLS are preferred, with prior long-term care experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Aide in good standing or graduate of approved program.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of long-term care CNA experience preferred.
• Clear communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and procedures.
• Assists resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring.
• Coordinates dining services at mealtimes including setup, delivery, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and records intake.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities.
• Completes flow sheets and documents progress as directed.
• Keeps team informed of factors impacting task performance and reports changes.
