Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care to residents in Fayetteville, NC. The role focuses on daily living activities, fostering independence, and participation in community activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, coordinating with nursing staff, and supporting resident move-in transitions while maintaining confidentiality and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Must have current CNA license in the state of the community and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and document care concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities and check attendance at meals and events.
• Monitor residents and report status changes to staff and document them.
• Assist new residents with move-in and provide emotional support.
• Document changes in Daily Log and inform family as directed.
