Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Lakota with 16+ assisted living beds and 38 nursing facility beds. The role involves daily living support, vital signs, and collaborating with RNs in a long-term care setting. Shift runs 6:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation required. Competitive benefits, daily earnings access, and education support are offered. Requirements include CNA certification and yearly continuing education, with 12 hours CE per year.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities.
• Assists resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
• Assists residents with meals and dining; provides water and supplements as appropriate.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behaviour, and diet.
• Communicates changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services to keep living areas clean.
• Encourages resident participation in wellness and recreation programs.
• May participate in department/organization committees as needed.
