Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care setting to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision. This role involves helping residents with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; maintain a positive dining experience.
• Support housekeeping and activity participation as needed.
