Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and support with all activities of daily living, ensuring health, welfare, and safety of residents at all times.

The CNA will assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and documentation, while maintaining privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal requirements. Prior long-term care experience is preferred; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required by state laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaving; assist with bathroom trips; help with showers and baths.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; record intake and output.
