Job summary

Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per the resident's plan. You will identify residents, document health data, and support mobility and daily living activities.

The role requires adherence to privacy laws and facility policies, with patient comfort and safety as priorities. CPR preferred, and a minimum ten grade education is required. This position is on-site in the nursing unit.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any unauthorized access to information systems.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Help prepare rooms, assist with transfers, and escort residents as needed.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care as instructed.
• Participate in nursing reports and follow established policies and procedures.
