Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of nursing leadership. You will ensure the highest quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include resident rounds, ID verification, bed making, and assistance with daily activities. Candidates must be CNA certified, with at least 6 months of experience and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with at least 6 months of experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact with ill, aged and timid residents with patience and tact.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
