Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate nursing assistant to provide routine resident care under supervision. You will perform duties in accordance with facility policies and safety rules, including patient rounds and accurate identification checks.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license with at least 6 months of CNA experience or relevant clinical CNA coursework, and must communicate effectively in English while interacting with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certified nursing assistant license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA class.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Healthy with emotional stability.
• Able to work with ill, elderly and sometimes hostile individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identification before care.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and reachable.
• Other duties as directed by charge nurse, director, or administrator.
