Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in line with established policies and procedures. You will work under the guidance of the Charge Nurse and Nursing leadership to ensure high-quality resident care at all times.

Qualifications include a valid CNA license, minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA training, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Minimum 6 months experience as CNA or clinical CNA experience.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm with compassion.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within residents’ reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leaders.
