Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in accordance with facility policies and supervision by the Charge Nurse and Director of Nurses. The role ensures the highest quality resident care at all times.

Responsibilities include patient rounds, ensuring correct resident identification, and maintaining clean care areas, all while upholding professional communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• At least 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm with tact.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions staff immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Keep water pitchers filled and within residents' reach.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
