Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care-Clearfield is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Shower Aide to support residents under the direction of licensed staff. The role focuses on daily living activities, documentation, and compliance with care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, and documenting observations, while maintaining resident dignity and safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist resident with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Assist lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinate dining room services, meal delivery, feeding assistance, and document meal intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Record weights and report changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitor skin condition and report issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assist with toileting program activities.
• Complete flow sheets and document resident progress.
• Inform nurse/supervisor of changes in resident condition.
