Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and to encourage participation in community programs. You will document care, respond to emergencies, and maintain confidentiality while supporting a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include housekeeping in resident areas, reporting status changes, and helping new residents acclimate with emotional support. Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the state and be in good standing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work with all levels of staff.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily tasks.
• Support residents to participate in community activities and programs.
• Report incidents and document care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
• Maintain confidentiality and document updates in Daily Log.
