Job summary

PACS is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care according to each resident’s plan. The role requires identifying residents, documenting care, and reporting changes to nursing staff. You will help with daily tasks, mobility, and ensuring comfort and safety across the unit.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, following policies, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical and reasoning abilities to apply fractions and ratios in daily tasks.
• CPR preferred and state CNA license requirements noted.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristband/photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in a clear, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and comply with policies.
• Assist with daily resident care tasks, mobility, and personal needs.
