Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care during day shifts in Oberlin, KS. You work under a registered nurse to assist with daily living activities, hygiene, and basic health monitoring.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process.
• Minimum age 16.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits are required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required and driving policy may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities and meals.
• Record vital signs and monitor health changes.
• Support infection prevention and PPE use.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
