Job summary

Good Samaritan in Oberlin, KS is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, performing daily living activities and basic health tasks per care plan.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and support infection control. The role supports wellness activities and a compassionate team in a not-for-profit facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, not required.
• Must have CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and monitor residents as per care plans.
• Support infection prevention and PPE usage.
• Assist with meals and dining to ensure a positive experience.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with activities and wellness programs.
