Job summary

Good Samaritan in Olathe, KS is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide caregiver support during scheduled shifts in long-term care. You will deliver resident-centered nursing care under an RN, assist with daily living activities, track vital signs, and ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.

Duties include helping with meals, transferring residents, and supporting wellness programs. Requirements include a CNA certificate (or enrollment) and a GED or high school diploma.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months.
• Keep up yearly competency testing and continuing education credits (min 12 hours annually).
• Possession of UAP registry or driving clearances may apply as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to RN
• Support infection control and safety policies
