Right at Home in Virginia Beach is seeking compassionate CNA/PCA caregivers for a 4p-6p Mon-Thur part-time shift. You’ll help seniors stay at home and provide compassionate, person-centered care in clients' residences.

You will perform ADLs, assist with medications reminders, meal prep, mobility and ROM exercises, and engage clients with reading, music, puzzles, and companionship. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training, and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 6 months of CNA experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of caregiver/HHA experience in healthcare settings.
• Read, write, and speak English as needed for the job.
• A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders and support prescribed routines.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and special diets as instructed.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, and conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with laundry and errands.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and safe mobility between clients.
